Mirko Cano Soveri

Mirko Cano Soveri is a telecommunications professional with over 20 years of experience, specializing in standardization. Currently Director of ETSI's Mobile Competence Centre (MCC) department (since 2023), his path began with roles at Vodafone, British Telecom, and Telefonica in Madrid. His engagement with standardization started at Telefonica via EU research projects and continued at TNO (Netherlands, from 2009) supporting KPN. Since joining ETSI in 2012, M has been deeply involved in standardization efforts, initially supporting 3GPP technical groups in security and management before taking on his leadership role within the MCC.
